Brief, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:

Comrade Rozhkov took part in combat operations, serving on the Leningrad Front as the Party organizer of a machine-gun company of the 131st Rifle Division's 2nd Battalion. He was stationed at the front line from January 10, 1943 to March 23, 1943, i.e. for two months and 13 days.

For his excellent performance of duty he was promoved from enlisted man to sergeant and later to senior sergeant.

Repeatedly fighting in battle, he has 8 killed German soldiers on his tally. During the fighting for Krasny Bor (a suburb of Leningrad) on March 19, 1943, when the 482nd Rifle Regiment was advancing, the enemy counterattacked the regiment on its left flank. Comrade Rozhkov organized the troops who were present and fought off the enemy counterattack.

In this same area comrade Rozhkov and his company repelled enemy counterattacks on March 22, 1943. Although wounded, he remained behind his machine gun alone and did not leave the battlefield for 52 hours. During the fighting he suffered a severe wound in his right leg, which damaged the large and small cardiac nerve (he is a disabled veteran of the 3rd category).

He is currently employed as the secretary of the Party Committee of a station's railroad junction in Kazakhstan. He received positive character references from local, Party, and Soviet organizations and he commands authority among the population.

For his distinction in battle at the front during the Patriotic War comrade Rozhkov deserves the Order of Glory, 3rd Class.
